Is there a FRONT DESK?

No, we offer easy, no contact check-in is done online. You will receive an email with door and gate CODES ON DAY OF ARRIVAL and after we receive answers to guest questions pre-registration form. Please send ASAP.
AIR CONDITIONER questions?

The AC is controlled by the control on the AC unit itself. The wall thermostat controls the Fireplace for heat. For units with a rear installed AC please leave the interior door open for best air circulation. Any other questions please contact manager for assistance.
Are PETS allowed?

We are currently not set up for pets. We strive to maintain units as allergy and dander free for guests.
When is CHECK-IN and check out? What do we do to leave?

Check in is after 4pm, check out is before 11am. Checkin info will be sent on day of arrival after guest questions answered, room is cleaned, and inspected. Arrival anytime after 4pm is finne since you can let yourself in with the codes given in email. To leave just close door! Optional to take out your garbage (dumpster is on Friday Ave), loading dishwasher is optional but appreciated. Thanks.
Are there DISCOUNTS?

We offer Happy Return Guest VIP Discounts, (Low season, non-holiday). We also offer discounts for 2 or more nights, and also a 1nt rate, please inquire. Please book directly on our website https://www.GondolaLodge.us. We will adjust discount depending on time of year and availability. We really appreciate 10/10 reviews!
What if the TV says no signal?

Usually this is because the input has been changed or accidentally bumped. Use the remote control button that says SOURCE or INPUT to set to HDMI 1 (or try HDMI 2 or 3). In a rare case the Cable from the satelite box may have come lose and needs tightening. Note: if you disconect or change connection ( for example to connect a device) please return to original settings when departing in consideration of future guests.
What if we have trouble ARRIVING and is there airport transportation?

Events like weather, road closures, health issues, guest plan changes, are best addressed with travel insurance. With non-refundable reservation, cancelling or moving reservations is not an option. www.TravelInsurance.com is one source.

What are features/AMENITIES?

Saltwater seasonal pool, spa – hot tub, gated parking, fire pit, BBQs, Fireplaces in every room, jetted bath tubs, Kitchen, kitchenettes, mini kitchenettes, Satellite TV, large flat screen TVs, easy entry – no front desk – just drive straight to your room, great location near village – gondola – shops – restaurants and bars – casinos – shows – shopping, private beach about 4 blocks away. Washer Dryers on site (excpet Rooms with Game Room (booked Separately) will have WD in room. 2 Story Buiding, no elevators.
What is the KITCHEN and kitchenette arrangement, what UTENSILS are there?

There are several kitchen and kitchenette types. All units have a combination microwave and convection oven and sink, 1 or 2 induction cooktops with all necessary pots, pans, utensils, spatula, cutting knife, plates glasses, silverware, cups bowls, cutting board , etc. If anything missing or needed please call onsite manager. PLUS:
a.) A full, large kitchen with oven, gas stove/cooktop, microwave large 2 door fridge freezer, large sink, dishwasher, ie: The main house).
b.)Full sized kitchenette, under counter refrigerator, 2 induction cooktops, all utensils. Sink, dishwasher, Combo microwave, large counter with bar seating peninsula.
c.) Larger kitchenette with combo microwave/convection oven, dishwasher, under counter fridge, induction cooktops, sink. (ie: 2 brdm units center living room, and 1br units)
d). extra large kitchenette with combo microwave/convection oven, dishwasher, induction cooktops, sink. (ie: 108, 208 2br corner units)
e.) Small kitchenettes similar to a wet bar, with combo microwave/convection oven, induction cooktop, sink. (all 2 queenbed rooms).

There are 2 studio styles: one with a larger kitchenette and shower, the other with wet bar and jetted bathtub.
What is the BEACH like and how do we access?

At Gondola Lodge, Our private beach is about 4 blocks away, easy walk or drive. (There is an easement shortcut if you follow Friday Ave towards lake and straight thru the apartments driveway past 3 Peaks).

You will have a beach pass in your room in the Summer (Memorial Day to Labor Day) to show at the gate for a discounted rate for each person, except children 5 and under are free.

There is a marina with boat and kayak etc rentals. Beach chairs available. Bathroom, tot play structure (open depending on covid rules), restaurant and bar. There is also a nearby restaurant at Jimmy’s at the Landing, and at Station House (Formerly LewMarNels).

For Tahoe Beach Club beach passes are not needed, our beach is a fenced private beach. Dock and boat, jet skis are available.
How do we get in our ROOM?

Please fill out the guest questions well before arrival to eliminate delays. You will receive an email just befoe arrival with a link to click to access door and gate codes, and information on rules and amenities. Simply drive into property, enter car gate code, park and enter door code to your room(s). (Unit 100 can park along Friday Ave side in front of garage door.
) Checkin info will be sent on day of arrival after guest questions answered, room is cleaned, and inspected.
SUPPLIES, beach towels?

Please bring your own beach/pool towels. We provide bath and hand towels and linens. Please use black wash towels for makeup removal.

We provide a starter pack of soaps, toilet paper etc.

Is Gondola Lodge near the Heavenly VILLAGE?

Yes, about 300ft or a half Block to Gondola, about 42 restaurants and bars, Shops, Gondola and more. About 2 blocks to casinos.
What types of ROOMS are there?

What is the 2BR arrangement like?

2 br style 1: has a room with 2 queenbeds, another room with a queen and a comfortable sofa sleeper, and a livingroon and kitchen with a queen futon. 3 bathrooms.

2Br style 2: has 2 bedrooms each with a queen bed, livingroom kitchen with a sofa sleeper, 2 bath.
What If I ARRIVE early?

You are welcome to park in our outside parking, and visit the Village, casinos, hit the slopes or beach etc, and text us to see if your room can be cleaned and ready early. (Early check-ins depend on when housekeeping has completed cleans and rooms inspected). We will reply after cleaning and inspection.
Is there a RESTAURANT onsite, nearby, or breakfast onsite?

Not currently, but there are about 42 restaurants and bars within walking distance. For great breakfasts try the Village (Driftwood Cafe, etc) or Casinos. Lunch and dinner options are too numerous to list!

Is there a WASHER DRYER?

Yes, several. The game room has its own washer dryer and is usually rented along with the Main House. Other units have a Washer Dryer at the end of the hall on both the 1st and 2nd floors. Wash is $2, dryer is $1.50 takes quarters or use phone app.
Where can we rent SKI AND BOARD EQUIPMENT and LIFT TICKETS etc?

Several options , next door at Zalanta on the corner. or at the village there are several shops next to the gondola. Powder House is good. As is Shoreline Sports on Kingsbury. There are also several delivery services.

Where are BBQs

There are 5. Gas outside pool fence on Friday Ave side. Gas outside pool fence on Cedar Ave side. Gas in Firepit ares. 2 charcoal BBQs in firepit area.
What if a CIRCUIT BREAKER or GFI trips?

In the kitchen sometimes when many devices are used at the same time or during a storm power issue or surge the wall GFI outlet can trip. Just press the reset button on the GFI outlet. If that doesnt work call manager to reset at the Sub panel.
